BBEP 2012

Breast Biopsy Education Program (BBEP 2012) was organized at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi on October 9-10, 2012. Prof Arun Kumar Gupta was the organizing chairman and Dr Smriti Hari was the organizing secretary. The limited participation workshop was attended by more than 60 participants from all over India. Hands-on training on ultrasound, stereotactic and MR guided core biopsy, vacuum assisted biopsy and hookwire localization was given to the participants. This was first of its kind workshop exclusively on breast interventions.

BBEP 2012 was also the event where Breast Imaging Society (India) was born.
