DSCI CME 2014

A mini-symposium on ‘Screening Mammography’ was held on 27.1.14 at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Dr Mahesh Shetty, Houston, Texas, USA delivered talks on ‘Screening Mammography in developing countries’ and ‘Imaging histologic correlation’. Prof N Khandelwal, PGIMER, Chandigarh, delivered a talk on ‘Population screening under Asha Jyoti Project: initial experience’.

The symposium was attended by more than 100 delegates who included radiologists, breast surgeons, pathologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine experts, community medicine experts and scientists from ICMR, Division of non-communicable diseases. All talks were followed by interactive discussions and were appreciated by all. This was followed by a conducive BISI meeting.
